Overall it was a good experience and a shame that I have not made a placement. I fully accept this is down to me and my circumstances and I will certainly consider the service in the future.
One issue was not being informed by the host family sooner after clicking negotiate, which lead to me exploring other options and then delaying them as well. Had they came back sooner then I would have probably made the placement (or at least begun communications with them). In the period of waiting, I guess both parties are completely in the dark. Perhaps, implementation of a new button to press before accept/reject that allows each party to perhaps acknowledge they have seen the update, and give a expected date to respond by could be a useful feature.
E.G a message box where I could have put: "Apologies for the delay, I am in interviews this week and therefore will not have time to begin discussions with you until June 23rd".
or the host could have put: "thanks for your interest, we are currently reviewing your negotiation request and will reply by June 15th"
