Job Description
| Near Basel, Switzerland. Summer Position. Nanny required for family with two children, Leonardo aged 1 & Sofia aged 4. You would be responsible for Leonardo. The family are from the US and speak English. Dad works in property, mum is an artist. The family live in the countryside, 15 minutes by car or train from Basel city centre. When the family travel to Italy they stay in a small town in the Dolomites outside Belluno. Requirements: Driver/Experience. Use of car and internet is given. 1 month placement. Accommodation: Private bedroom and bathroom in a villa. It is possible that you may have to share a room with Leonardo but that is not certain and can be discussed at the interview. Approx hrs of work:8.00 am to 4.00 pm and 6.30 pm to 8.30 pm. Duties:Take care of Leonardo: cooking, feeding, bathing, changing, going outdoors, stimulating him through play, putting him down in the evening. If Leonardo wakes up during the night you would need to tend to him. For this the family can discuss an overtime payment rate. Time off: 1 1/2 days including the evenings. You are asked to babysit for a maximum of 5 evenings a week. Salary: 750 euros per week (approx £650.00 p/w, at the current rate of exchange). Basel is a lovely town with historical and modern buildings with well known museums and a thriving art scene. It combines a cosmopolitan life-style whilst still retaining its traditions. |
