Job Description
| Assisi, Near Perugia, North Italy. Governess required for family with twins, Francesca and Michele aged 8. Dad is a manager, mum is a publicist. Religion: R/C. The family speak English, German, French and Spanish. Accommodation: private separate apartment with bathroom and kitchen. Other help kept: 4 other staff including a full-time housekeeper and a Spanish Au-Pair for a total of 50-55 hours per week for all the housework. Requirements: English Mother Tongue/Experience/Teaching Qualification. 1 year contract. The family live in a detached villa. Total hrs: 33-39 hours per week. Mornings are free. You will be asked to however work Saturday mornings and a few hours Saturday afternoon and sometimes Sunday. Duties: playing with the children, all nursery duties in collaboration with the au-pair. Washing and ironing the children's clothes, cleaning and tidying their bedrooms, speaking and teaching the children English. Time off: 1 1/2 days off per week. Salary: £ 450.00-£700.00 p/w based on experience. The salary is negotiable for the right candidate. Family's interests: Charities. The family go on holiday to the seaside and on overseas trips. They have 5 small dogs but they do not live in the accommodation. Assisi is a lovely area near Perugia with lots of lovely things to see and visit. There are other nannies working in the area. This family is very well known to us. One of the last nannies we sent them was from the UK and stayed in the family for over 2 years. This is an ideal position for someone who wants to experience the Italian culture and who will enjoy working in a team with other members of staff.
