Job Description
| Florence, North Italy. Mother's help for family with three children, Pietro aged 9, Benedetta aged 7 & Gianmaria aged 5. The children go to school from 8.00 am and finish school three times a week at 12.30 pm and twice a week at 4.00 pm. The school is 30 minutes from the family's home. After school they have various different after school activities. You will be asked to pick the children up from school by car and need to be a confident driver. You will not be asked to take them to school. Religion: R/C. Dad is an estate agent, mum is a psychologist. The family live in a house with a large garden in a rural area but near a bus stop. Buses run every 2 hours. On Sunday there are three buses a day. However you will be give use of a car. Accommodation: private, comfortable, independent, small self-contained house. The accommodation is in the private garden of the family's home and next to their house. Other help kept: a housekeeper for 7 hours a week for all the housework. Requirements: Ability to Cook/Swimmer/Driver/Non-Smoker or willing to smoke only outside/Experience/English Mother Tongue. The ideal candidate for this position will be mature, with the ability to teach English to different age groups, with a smiling and cheerful disposition and who can understand the needs of a large family. Use of a car and internet given. 12 month contract. Approx hrs of work: 12 noon to 7.00 pm. Total daily hrs: 7. Duties: play with the children, generally look after them, pick them up from school, teach them English, drive them to different activities, help with cooking and tidying up. Time off: 1 1/1 days including the evenings and another 4 evenings off per week. You are asked to babysit for a maximum of 1 evening a week. Salary: € 290.00 p/w, net negotiable (around £ 240.00 p/w, at the current rate of exchange). Family's interests: The family are a very happy family who like to spend time together. Florence is a lovely city famous the world over for its art work and history. It is very popular with tourists all year round. There is a large English speaking community and other mother's helps working in the area. |
