| Description of home and locality: | Until March 2017: We live in Piancogno, a small village in the valley of Camonica in the province of Brescia From April 2017: We will live in Pisogne, a village on the Iseo Lake, in the Vallecamonica in the province of Brescia. Lake Iseo is one of outstanding natural beauty, with its lush green mountains surrounding the crystal clear lake. There are several medieval towns around the lake and a lot of tourist attractions. Tourism is very developed in this area. In the middle of the lake there is Monte Isola (or Montisola) the most big Lake island in Europe. Iseo Lake became famous in all the world for the Floating Piers, an art installation by Christo and Jeanne-Claude, that was open to the public for 16 days in June and July 2016. Pisogne isn’t far from the main cities (40 minutes from Brescia, 1 hour from Bergamo and 1 hour 30 minutes from Milan) but it is immersed in nature and mountains. |

Job Description
| Piancogno, Nr Brescia, North Italy. Au-pair needed for Gabriele aged 3. Religion: R/C. Dad is a company director, mum has her own business. Until March 2017: The family live in Piancogno, a small village in the valley of Camonica in the province of Brescia. From April 2017: The family will be moving to Pisogne, a village on the Iseo Lake, in the Vallecamonica in the province of Brescia. Lake Iseo is an outstanding natural beauty, with its lush green mountains surrounding the crystal clear lake. There are several medieval towns around the lake and a lot of tourist attractions. Tourism is very developed in this area. In the middle of the lake there is Monte Isola (or Montisola) the most the largest Lake island in Europe. Iseo Lake became famous worldwide for the Floating Piers, an art installation by Christo and Jeanne-Claude, that was open to the public for 16 days in June and July 2016. Pisogne isn’t far from the main cities (40 minutes from Brescia, 1 hour from Bergamo and 1 hour 30 minutes from Milan) but it is immersed in nature and mountains. Other help kept: two members of staff, one for 12 hours a week and another for 25 hours per week for all the housework. Requirements: Ability to Cook/Swimmer/Experience/English Mother Tongue. Use of internet given. English spoken. 12 month placement. Accommodation: Until March 2017: The candidate will have a private apartment located in Darfo Boario Terme near the family's home(approx 10kms). It is small and welcoming apartment. It is located 5 minutes on foot from the train station and buses. From April 2017: The candidate will have a private room with a private bathroom in the new house in Pisogne. Approx hrs of work:4.00 pm to 10.00 pm. Total daily hrs: 6. Time off: 1 day including the evening and another 4 evenings off per week. You are asked to babysit for 2 evenings a week. Salary: € 150.00 p/w, negotiable, net (around £ 134.00 p/w, at the current rate of exchange). Family's interests: travel, going out with friends, sport. The family go on holiday to Puglia and Sicily. A nice short term position ideal for a nature lover and also someone who wants to pursue other interests such as teaching English or studying as there is plenty of free time.
