| Duties: | The Nanny will look after the needs of 2 active youngsters, a girl of 15 and a younger boy of 13. (4 older children are away at University, doing a gap year, working etc.). The nanny will be involved with school runs, homework supervision, liaising with the PA to organise the children’s numerous activities, teach them to take responsibility in things they need to prepare (homework, things to take to sports activities, etc.), getting them in and out of bed on time and participating and organising activities with them. Also the nanny needs to prepare breakfast for the family (not every day, but according to a schedule to be agreed on with the other help) and healthy snacks for the children, light household chores such as unloading the dishwasher and occasionally shopping and cooking. Some party planning, household management, maybe some cooking, as the children are out at school. All can be discussed and negotiated to play to your strengths. Occasionally the nanny would be expected to join the family when they travel. Each year in August they stay at their house in Knokke and the nanny/Governess is expected to be there as well during this period. Sometimes the family might ask her to join them on their Christmas holiday to Switzerland, but not a deal breaker. |

Job Description
| Brasschaat, Near Antwerp, Belgium. Qualified or Experienced Nanny needed for a family with 6 children, Melchior aged 22, Amadeo aged 21, Noepy aged 19, Rembrandt aged 18, Olympia aged 15 and Marc-Anthony aged 13. Daily care only for the two younger children. School hours are 8.30 am to 3.30 pm. You will be required to drop off and pick up the children from school with a staff car. The school is a 15 minute drive from the family's home. Dad is a director of his own company, mum is a lawyer. The family speak English, Flemish and French. The family live in a very spacious house located in a green area of Brasschaat. Public transport is available in Brasschaat and there will always be someone available to drive you to public transport. You are also given use of the staff car in your free time. Other help kept: Other staff for the heavy housework for 40 hours per week. Requirements: Ability to Cook/Swimmer/Driver/Experience/English Mother Tongue/Willing to do Housework. Use of internet given. Minimum 6 month placement. Accommodation: Own private bedroom. Share the bathroom with another member of staff (female).
