Job Description
| Leivi, Near Genova, North Italy. Summer position. Au-Pair needed for family with one child, Sonia aged 2. Religion: R/C. Dad is a doctor, mum is an interpreter. The family speak English, French, Spanish and of course Italian. They live 5 kms from Chiavari a lovely small town by the beach with 15 000 inhabitants. Genova which has 600 000 inhabitants is the main city in the region (Liguria) an is 35 kms away. The family live in a detached house with a large garden with a lovely view of the sea. Other help kept: a housekeeper for 15 hours per week for all the housework. Requirements: Non-Smoker/Experience/English Mother Tongue. Use of internet given. 2 month placement. Accommodation: own private bedroom with private bathroom. Approx hrs of work: 9.00 am to 12 noon. 3.00 pm to 6.00 pm. Total daily hrs: 6. Duties: Play with Sonia, speak English to her, help mum with Sonia when they go on the beach. They go to the beach every day. Time off: 1 day including the evening and another 4 evenings off per week. You are asked to babysit for a maximum of 2 evenings a week. Salary: € 150.00 p/w, negotiable, net (around £ 114.00 p/w, at the current rate of exchange). Family's interests: Sport, walking, swimming. The family go on holiday to the beach and mountains. They have a dog and 2 cats. This is a lovely summer position in a beautiful area of Italy. All along the cost there are lovely beach resorts with sandy beaches and the area is very popular in the summer. There is a bus service that goes all along the coast where it possible to visit lovely villages and the French Riviera and Cote d'Azur is not far away. There are other au-pairs working in the area |
