Job Description
| Cerrato Guidi, Near Florence, North Italy. Temporary position. Governess for professionals with two children, Giovanni aged 15 & Giacomo aged 13. Religion: R/C. Both parents have their own business. The family in Cerreto Guidi in the countryside but very near public transport. They are located 30 minutes from Florence, 10 minutes from Empoli and 40 minutes from Pisa. Other help kept: a housekeeper for 40 hours per week for all the housework. Requirements: Non-Smoker/English Mother Tongue. The family are looking for a qualified English teacher to teach mum and dad and the children English. They have an elementary knowledge of English. Use of internet given. 2 month placement. Accommodation: an apartment in the family's home or if you prefer a lovely private, self-contained house that is located a few minutes from the family, with the bus stop just outside the entrance. The family can also provide a small apartment in Empoli where their offices are located if a city location is preferred. Approx hrs of work: 9.00 am to 12 noon. Total daily hrs: 3. Duties: Teach English to the parents as they need to learn English for work. Also teach the children English for a total of 3 or 4 hours per day either in the morning or the afternoon, never in the evenings, from Monday to Friday. Time off: Weekends and all evenings. Salary: € 305.00 p/w, negotiable, net (around £ 300.00 p/w, at the current rate of exchange). Family's interests: Cooking, cinema, books, sport, walks outdoors. There are other Governesses working in the area. A great position for a candidate who wants plenty of free time to peruse other interests, for example study or given English lessons. |
