Does your family have any special needs:	We are both freelancers with a very flexible life. So the candidate should be very flexible. There are weeks in which I stay all the day with the baby so the nanny will be just a help and will have a lot of free time but there will be some days in which she will have the responsibility to be alone with her. We will be very flexible with our nanny too, if she will like to take courses, to have more days off, etc... Our nanny lives with us, eats with us and travels with us, its like another member of the family.

Duties:	Our long term nanny is going to get married and will leave in the end of August. Our daughter will enter the english kinder garden in September. We are looking for an English or Spanish mother tongue nanny/mother help/Au-Pair with some previous experience. Our daughter has always been with spanish speaking nannies. She does know some english but as she's entering english kinder garden, to help her to learn the language faster we would love to have someone who is mother tongue with us. But we are considering also spanish mother tongue candidates as this is a very important language for us and we wish our daughterto continue with it. We are both freelancers who work from home and there is someone else a few hours a day who does the cleaning of the house. We will appreciate a candidate who is active and will help (especially in the kitchen) when we need but she won't have specifics tasks in housekeeping. We would love a flexible and creative person who will teach things to our daughter while playing.

Indira will go to the kindergarten from 9 to 13. It's very close to our house, 10 minutes walking. Normally I take her and pick her up but the candidate will go when we will be busy. a direct contact with a previous family would much appreciate on our side.

Job Description

Milan, North Italy. Short or long term position. Nanny, Mother's Help or Au-pair needed for family with 1 child, Indira aged 3. Indira will be going to kindergarten from September from 9.00 am to 1pm. The kindergarten is very near the family's home, 10 minutes on foot. You will need to take Indira and pick her up from kindergarten when mum is busy. Both parents are photographers. The family speak English, Spanish and of course Italian. The family live in Milan city center, near to the town center and near a park and the Pagano underground station which is a 1 minute walk away from their house. Other help kept: a housekeeper for 10 hours per week for the heavy housework. Requirements: Ability to Swim/Experience/English or Spanish Mother Tongue/Non-Smoker/Willing to do Housework. Both parents are freelancers with a very flexible lifestyle. So you will need to be very flexible as well. There are weeks when mum stays all day with Indira so you will just be a help and will have a lot of free time. But there will be some days in which you will have sole charge responsibility for the child. Use of internet given. Minimum 6 month placement. Accommodation: when in Milan you will have a private bedroom with private bathroom. When on holiday with the family you may have to share a bedroom with the little girl. Approx hrs of work: 8.00 am to 9.00 am 1.00 pm to 8.00 pm. Total daily hrs: 8. Time off: 1 1/2 days including evenings and another 2 evenings off per week. You are asked to babysit for a maximum of 3 evenings a week. Duties: Take care of Indira who is 3 years old and stimulate her, play with her, help her to develop. You will usually not have sole charge as the family is very present. You will need to be flexible because the parents are freelancers so their schedule is never the same. You will not have any particular duties around the house but the family will appreciate if you help out when not busy with the child as they do have domestic help but not live-in and for only 2-3 hours a day. Salary: â‚¬ 350.00-â‚¬400.00 p/w, negotiable depending on experience and qualifications (around Â£ 305.00-Â£352.00 p/w, at the current rate of exchange), net, negotiable depending on experience. Family's interests: photography, arts, travel. They go away most of weekends, to the seaside, the countryside or mountains, depend of the season. They may also have longer trips. Everytime the family will talk with the nanny to know if she'll like to come. They have a small dog. Milan is the financial and fashion capital of Italy. There are lots of things to see and do. The lake region, dolomites and Swiss border are not far away. There is a large international community and other nannies working in the area. The ideal candidate will have child care experience with children of this age.
