| Campione d'Italia, Near Como, North italy. Au-pair/Mother's Help needed for family with two children, Alessandro aged 4 and Sofia aged 3. The children go to nursery from 8.15 am to 3.45 pm. Religion: R/C. Dad works in a bank, mum is a jurist. The family speak English, French, German, Spanish and of course Italian. They live in a small village on the border with Switzerland. Public transport stops outside the family's home. They live in a large apartment. Other help kept: a housekeeper for 10 hours per week for the heavy housework. Requirements: Swimmer/Non-Smoker/Experience/English Mother Tongue/Willing to do Housework/Minimal Knowledge of Italian Use of internet given. 12 month placement Accommodation: Large private bedroom with unlimited wifi and 500 free minutes for calls to Europe and the USA. A mobile phone with 20 swiss francs credit per month. The bathroom is shared. The family also pays for a season ticket for the public transport. Approx hrs of work: 7.00 am to 8.15 am. 5.45 pm to 7.00 pm. Total daily hrs: 5. Duties: prepare breakfast, prepare the children for nursery, take them and pick them up from nursery (a 5 minute walk), play with them, speak and teach them English, bath them, tidy up their toys and clothes. Time off: 1 1/2 days including evenings and another 3 evenings off per week. You are asked to babysit for a maximum of 2 evenings a week. Salary: 162 Swiss Francs per week to 300 Swiss Francs per week, negotiable depending on experience (around £ 110.00 p/w, to £ 213.00 p/w at the current rate of exchange). The family have already employed 2 au-pairs on of which stayed 9 months and the other 1 year. The area where the family live is very beautiful not far from lovely lake Lugano and Milan. There are other au-pairs working in the area. You will need a 1st aid certificate or complete one before your arrival. During the summer when the children are not at school your hours would increase and 3 days a week you would be asked to work 10 hours per day for a total of 45 hours per week. The salary would increase to 300 Swiss francs per week( around £ 200.00 per week at the current rate of exchange). |
