| Casa De Campo, La Romana, Dominican Republic. Fantastic Mothers Help or Nanny required for French/Swiss family with one child Maximilien aged 7. He attends an English school from 8.00 am to 1.45 pm. The school is a 10 minute drive from the family's home and dad drives him to school every morning. Dad is French and is an investor, mum is Swiss and does not work. Religion: R/C. The family speak English, German, Italian, Spanish and of course French. They live in a large house with private pool and garden, 2 minutes from the beach in a gated community. Other help kept: 6 members of staff including a chef, housekeeper and driver for a total of 60 hours per week. Requirements: Ability to Swim/Driver/Experience/English Mother Tongue. Use of car and internet given. Minimum 6 month contract. Accommodation: own private bedroom in the family's home with ensuite bathroom, dressing room, cable Tv and internet. Approx hrs of work: 6.50 am to 7.20 am. 2.00 pm to 9.30 pm. Total daily hrs: 8. Time off: 1 1/2 days including the evenings. You are asked to babysit for a maximum of 5 evenings a week if the parents go out. They do not go out every evening. Duties: Take care of Maximillien, general child care duties, get him up in the morning and ready for school, prepare his breakfast. You are then free till 2.00 pm when he gets back from school. In the afternoon organise activities for him, take him to friends' houses or to after school activities, help him with his homework, prepare his supper if he is not eating with his parents and get him ready for bed. La Romana faces a river and nearby there is a recreated 16th century Mediterranean village with artists workshops. The area is a gateway to nearby resort areas and not far from Catalina island with beaches, coral reefs and a ship wreck. La Romana is the 7th largest city in the Dominican Republic with approx 130000 inhabitants and is approx 120kms from the capital and easily accessible to several airports. A lovely opportunity for a position in a very unique location. |
