CENTRE
FOR THE TOEIC TEST |
The test of English for
International Communication (TOEIC) is a test to assess the knowledge
of English for students of different mother tongues. It is designed to
evaluate the everyday linguistic capabilities of people who work in
international environments. The grades obtained in the test indicate
the level of capability to communicate in English in a business
environment, in commerce and in industry. The test does not require
specialist knowledge of the language or of vocabulary apart from the
level of English used in a daily work environment. The TOEIC test is a
multiple-choice examination that lasts two hours and is divided into
two sections, comprehension and reading. A good grade obtained in the
TOEIC test adds value to a CV and constitutes an excellent credential
in job applications. The school sets the TOEIC test in its classrooms
once a month |
