The family speak English, French and of course Italian. Emanuele goes to school from 8.30am to 3.45pm. You will need to take him and pick him up from school with their chauffeur. The school is located 19kms from the family's home. It takes about 25/30 minutes. The family live in a detached villa of approx 300sqm with garden in the centre of the village. It is easily accessible to public transport. Other help kept: A housekeeper for 4 hours daily for the heavy housework. Requirements: Ability to Drive/English Mother Tongue/Ability to Cook/Experience/Minimal knowledge of Italian/Ability to Swim/Willing to do Housework. To start March 2011 for 6 or 12 months. Accommodation: Own private bedroom and bathroom. Approx hrs of work: 8.00am-1.00pm. 3.00pm-7.00pm. Total daily hrs: 9. These hours would be for the mother's help position. For the au-pair position you would work in the afternoons and for a couple of hours in the morning. Duties: Spend time with Emanuele. The family are looking for a girl who knows how to be with children and who can keep him entertained.  For the mother's help position do some housework or  help with cooking. For the family it is important that you love children and know how to play with them. Time off: 1 1/2 days including the evenings for the mother's help position and 1 day including the evening and another 2 evenings off per week for the au-pair position. Salary: € 450.00 p/m for the au-pair position (around £97.00 p/w, at the current rate of exchange) and € 850.00 p/m for the mother's help position (around £183.00 p/w, at the current rate of exchange), negotiable. Family's interests: The seaside, the mountains, visiting other cities. The family go on holiday to the seaside in the summer and to the mountains in the winter. Verona is a beautiful, historic, romantic city famous as the setting of Romeo and Juliet. This family is well known to us as we sent them a girl from the USA last year who was very happy there and completed her contract.
