Au-pair needed for family with 2 children, Rachele aged 9 & Lapo aged
5. Religion: R/C. Dad has his own business, mum is a manager of a spa.
The family speak French and of course Italian. Other help kept: a
housekeeper for 5/6 hours per week for all the housework. Requirements:
Ability to Cook/Driver/Non-Smoker/Experience/English Mother
Tongue/Minimal knowledge of Italian. Use of internet is given. To 1st
October 2011 till the 30th April 2012. Approx hrs of work:
3.00pm-8.00pm. total daily hrs: 5. Time off: 1 day including the evening
and another 4 evenings off per week. You are asked to babysit for a
maximum of 2 evenings a week. Salary: € 100.00 p/w, negotiable (around £
80.00 p/w, at the current rate of exchange). The children go to school
from 8.00am to 1.00pm. Sometimes they finish school at 4.30pm. The
parents take and pick up the children from school, The school is located
approx 1km for the family's home. The family live in the Alps in a ski
resort very popular with tourists and the site of the 2006 Winter
Olympics. Public transport is around 100 meters from the family's home.
The train station is nearby where one can reach Turin in one hour.
Duties: Look after the children when the parents are not there, tidy up
their bedroom and toys, cook for them when needed. Help Rachele if
possible with homework. Teach the children a bit of English. Sometimes
feed the dog. Accommodation: Private bedroom with double bed and private
bathroom in the family's apartment. Family's interests: Travelling,
reading, books, sport. The family go on holiday overseas, usually to
Spain, France, USA or by the sea in Italy. The family have a dog, a West
Highland called Oliver. Turin was the first capital of Italy and has
some lovely squares and historical cafes. There is the river Po' that
runs through it and the Alps on one side and the hills on the other.
Bardonecchia is a famous ski resort and this position would be ideal for
someone who loves skiing. There is an international community in Turin
and others girls working in the area. |
