F131/10. Pomezia, nr Rome, Italy. Au-pair needed for family with one child, Nicole aged 8. Dad has his own business, mum works as a secretary. Other help kept: A housekeeper for all the housework. Requirements: Ability to Swim/Driver/Non-Smoker or willing to smoke only outside /Experience English Mother Tongue. Use of internet given. To start asap for 1 year. Approx hrs of work: 2.30pm-8.00pm. Total daily hrs: 5 1/2. Time off: 1 1/2 days including evenings and another 2 evenings off per week. You are asked to babysit for a maximum of 3 evenings per week. Salary: € 200.00 p/w, negotiable (around £170.00 at the current rate of exchange). You will not be asked to take or pick Nicole up from school. The family live 20 minutes outside Rome in a lovely villa with pool in the countryside. It is 5 minutes from the village of Pomezia and there is public transport. Accommodation: a comfortable bedroom with private bathroom. From Monday to Friday when Nicole goes to school till 2.30pm  you are free. Saturday you would work full time and Sunday you would work half a day. Monday is free. Family's interests: Travel. The family go on holiday in June to London, July and August to the beautiful island of Sardinia, in February to the mountains. They have 2 dogs. We have sent this family other candidates in the past and they were very happy there. They currently have a candidate from the USA who was there for 6 months and is now completing her contract in  September. Rome is the capital of Italy and there are loads of things to see and do. There are lots of historical and cultural interesting things to visit in the area such as Pompeii, Naples, Sorrento, Amalfi, Capri etc. There is a large international community. There are other girls working in the area.
