F116/11. Fasano, Nr Brindisi, South Italy. Long or short term position. Junior Nanny needed for family with 2 children, Carlo aged 4 and a newborn baby. Religion: Catholic. Dad is a chartered accountant, mum is a secretary. The family speak English and of course Italian. Other help kept: a housekeeper for 10 hours per week for all the housework. Requirements: Swimmer/Experience/Excellent English even if not mother tongue. Use of car and internet give. To start asap for 2, 3, 4, 6 or 10 months. Approx hrs of work: 6.00pm-9.00pm. Total daily hrs: 5. Time off: 1 day and all evenings. Salary: € 100.00 p/w, negotiable ( around £ 90.00 p/w, at the current rate of exchange). Carlo goes to school from 8.30am to 4.00pm. You will also be sometimes be asked to look after the children's cousins, Maria aged 10 and Enea aged 8 who go to school from 8.00am to 1.00pm. You will not be asked to take or pick up the children from school. The family live in the suburbs, 10 minutes on foot from the centre of the village. Accommodation: Private self-contained apartment 5 minutes on foot from family's apartment. The apartment is shared with a 34 year old girl who is a pharmacist. The apartment has 2 bathrooms and 3 bedrooms. The kitchen and living room is shared. Duties: Play and speak a lot with the children. Colour, paint, read books in English, tidy up the play room. Give Carlo a shower and help him at supper. You will stay for 3 afternoons with Carlo and for 3 afternoons with Maria and Enea. Family's interests: Cooking, ty ravel, reading, music. The family go on holiday to different parts of Italy and to Europe. At the moment the family do not need help with the new baby. If extra help will be needed with her the salary will be modified accordingly. Brindisi is in the Puglia region of Italy which is famous for its lovely beaches and wonderful weather.
