F092/11. Turin, North Italy. Nanny needed for 1 baby boy, Giovanni aged 8 months. He does not go to day nursery. Religion: R/C. Dad is a doctor, mum has her own business. The family speak French, English, Spanish and of course Italian. Other help kept: a housekeeper for 9 hours per week for the heavy housework. Requirements: Driver/Non-Smoker/Experience/Excellent English even if not Mother Tongue/Willing to do Housework. Use of internet is given. To start asap for 1 year. Approx hrs of work: 8.30am-1.00pm. 3.30pm-8.30pm. Total daily hrs: 10. Time off: 1 1/2 days including evenings and another 2 evenings off per week. You are asked to babysit for a maximum of 3 evenings per week. Salary: € 300.00 p/w, negotiable (around £ 265.00 p/w, at the current rate of exchange). The family live in a quite large apartment in the city centre with lovely terraces. They live in a convenient location as they are near the station and near public transport and the metro. Giovanni often goes to the grandparents house which is located 7kms away in Moncalieri in the hills behind Turin. You will be asked to go there with the parents by car or with public transport which are nearby. Duties: All child care duties, change Giovanni, prepare his feeds, feed him, play with him, put him to sleep with the parents can't do it, wash and iron your own and Giovanni's clothes, make the beds, clean the kitchen. Accommodation: Private bedroom and private bathroom. The bedroom has a TV, a private wardrobe and a single bed. The bathroom has a bath and shower, toilet and sink. Family's interests: Sport (skiing, walking, playing tennis, swimming), reading going to the cinema, travel. The family go on holiday to the Liguria region of Italy and to Spain. They have 2 dogs. The family are looking for a nanny who is willing, honest and who loves children and family life. You must love this type of child care work, be neat and tidy and have a cheerful disposition. You will need to travel with the family to the beach on holiday if needed. Turin was the first capital of Italy and is a nice medium sized city with the hills on one side and the alps on the other. The lovely river po' runs through it and it has some interesting piazzas and cafes. The ski resorts, the Italian Rivera, the French border and Milan are all 2 hours away. There is an international community and other girls working in the area.
