F057/11. Milan, North Italy. Summer position required. Mother's help needed to look after 1 child, Carla Maria aged 1 1/2. Religion: R/C. Dad is an optician, mum is a lawyer. The family speak English, French and of course Italian. Other help kept: a housekeeper for 15 hours per week for all the housework. Requirements: Ability to Cook/Swimmer/Non-Smoker or willing to smoke only outside/Experience. To start 1st July 2011 for 3 months. Approx hrs of work: 8.00am-1.00pm. 4.00pm-8.00pm. Total daily hrs: 9. Time off: 1 1/2 days including evenings & 1 other evening off per week. You are asked to babysit for a maximum of 4 evenings a week. Salary: € 200.00 p/w, negotiable (around £180.00 p/w, at the current rate of exchange). From the 1st July till till 15th September the family plan to have Carla Maria spend the summer (partly with the parents and partly with the grandparents) initially at Monterosso a lovely beach resort in Cinque Terre on the Italian Riviera in the Liguria region and then on the island of Elba. Both resorts have a train or bus service or have a ferry service nearby. Accommodation: share a single private large bedroom with bathroom in the family's homes in Milan and their holiday homes by the sea with Carla Maria. Duties: Look after Carla Maria in her daily activities (games, swimming in the sea, park etc). Look after her (prepare her meals, wash her clothes, tidy her bedroom). You will be with the parents by the sea, or before the parents are on holiday with the grandparents and therefore you will agree on a daily basis, based on the family's needs on the time spent with Carla Maria. Family's interests: Sport, reading, cinema. The family travel to Montnerosso (Cinque Terre, in Liguria) and to the island of Elba. The working hours are flexible depending on the family's commitments and needs. This is a very nice summer position where you will have the opportunity to experience three very different and lovely areas of Italy. Milan is the financial and fashion capital of Italy and there are lots of things to see and do. The lake region, Dolomites and the Swiss border are not far away. There is a large international community and there are other girls working in the area.
