F021/12. Madrid, Spain. Summer Position. Nanny needed for family with 2 children, Rebeca aged 10 & Gabriela aged 7. Both parents have their own business. Both the parents and children speak English and of course Spanish. The family lived in the UK for 9 years and Rebeca was born there, in Oxford. The children are fully bilingual as they attend an English school. They occasionally employ a housekeeper for varied hours for the heavy housework. Requirements: Ability to Cook/Swimmer/Non-Smoker/Experience/English Mother Tongue/Willing to do Housework. To start 30th June 2012 for nearly 2 months till the 15th August 2012. Approx hr of work: 9.00am-2.00pm. 4.30pm-9.30pm. Total daily hrs: 10. Time off: Weekends including the evenings and another 4 evenings off per week. You are asked to babysit for 1 evening a week. Salary: £ 300.00 p/w. The family will be spending the summer in their summer house in a natural reserve by the sea in the south of Spain. There is a bus that goes to the nearest town of Conil, which is very lively in the summer. This is also a pick-up point for an agency that organises guided trips of places of interest for English speakers. Accommodation: Private bedroom and bathroom which is very private as the accommodation is located on the 1st floor of the family's house whereas the family's rooms are on the ground floor. Duties: The hours of work may be flexible but will not go over 10 hours a day. You will be required to babysit for 1 evening a week from 9.30pm to 11.30am the next day ( the evening will be notified in advance). You must only speak English at all times, this is very important. Your duties will include making sure of the children's safety and well being at all times, when cooking you must prepare the meals hygienically and keep all kitchen areas tidy, washing and ironing the children's clothes and putting the clothes away, helping the girls to tidy their bedroom and keeping the toy/playroom tidy, organizing a programme of activities as agreed with the parents, teaching and helping the children with homework/development skills, ensuring that the girls' clothes are kept in good repair and their shoes clean, shopping for the children's needs, helping/bathing the children everyday, going to the beach with other children at the parents' request and looking after the children whilst at the beach. Keep your own bedroom and bathroom clean and tidy at all times. Family's interests: Bike riding, roller-skating, swimming. The family will be spending the summer in a residential villa which is located in an area which is part of the town of Conil in the province of Cadiz, south Spain. This is a very interesting summer position in a great, popular location. The family are looking for a nanny who has experience in working overseas and who loves spending time with the children and playing with them. You must love to swim  as  the children love swimming at the beach and in the swimming pool. It would be an advantage if you love sports. The family ride their bikes a lot and roller skate. You  should be capable of organising work for the girls, helping with homework but also plans things for them to do based what they need to focus on (language wise). You will be provided with their reports and work they have done during the year.
