F003/13. Prato, Tuscany, North Italy. Summer position. Mother's help needed for single mother with 3 children, Pietro aged 8, Benedetta aged 12 & Giulia aged 14. Mum is seperated. She is an architect. The family speak English and of course Italian. Other help kept: a housekeeper for 8 hours per week for all the housework. Requirements: Ability to Swim/Non-Smoker/Experience/English Mother Tongue. Use of internet given. To start 1st July 2013 for 2 months. Approx hrs of work: 9.30am-3.00pm. 4.30pm-9.30pm. Total daily hrs: 10. Time off: 1 1/2 days including the evenings. You are asked to babysit for a maximum of 5 evenings a week. Salary: € 200.00 p/w, negotiable (around £ 166.00 p/w, at the current rate of exchange). The family will be spending the summer in an apartment in Cinquale, a beach resort in Versilila in Tuscany. The apartment is located 1km from the beach and 100 meteres from public transport. The days will not always be the same. There are two possible scenarios. On certain days you will have private use of a small apartment. You will need to be ready at 9.30am. Mum will take you and Pietro to a private beach where dad spends the day. This has all facililties such as a bar, restaurant, showers etc. (This beach is different to the one mum goes on).  You will stay with dad and Pietro all day looking after Pietro and playing with him and keeping an eye on him whilst he plays with his friends, supervising him in the sea, at the football pitch etc. You will have lunch with them on the beach with sandwiches, at the beach restaurant or at dad's home. You will then all return to the beach and will stay there till approx 6.00pm and the you willbe taken by dad where you will then be free. You will have supper on your own and sleep on your own in the apartment. The next morning you will need to be ready by 9.30am. Other days you will have private use of the small apartment. You will need to be ready at 9.30am. Mum, you and Pietro will go all together on the beach. The beach has all amenities such as swimming pool, restaurant, showers etc. You will stay with the family all day looking after Pietro, playing with him, supervising him whilst he plays with his friends, when he goes in the pool or in the sea. You will have lunch with the family on the beach with sandwiches or at the restaurant. You will stay with the family on the beach till approx 6.00pm and then you will all go home. You will help mum lay the table but mum will cook. You will all have supper together at home. After supper you can go to your own private bedroom. In other days you will have private use of your bedroom and bathroom in the small apartment but mum and her partner will sleep in the other bedroom in the same apartment. You will need to be ready for 9.30am and you will go with mum and her partner and all the children on the beach. You will stay with the family all day looking after Pietro, playing with him, supervising him whilst he plays with his friends, when he goes in the pool or sea. You will have lunch with the family with sandwiches or at the restaurant. You will all stay on the beach till approx 6.00pm and then you will all go home. You will help mum lay the table but mum will cook and you will have supper with the family. After supper you can go to your private room . On your days off you will have private use of the small apartment. The bus stop is 100 meters away. Mum and her partner will stay in the apartment above yours. The family will show you the nearby free beaches. You should not have problems about being on your own and you should be independent. In July you will have 1 1/2 days off one week, and a weekend the next and so forth. In August you will be given one whole week off. You may be asked to babysit a few evenings in the evening because mum and her partner go out to dinner. Accommodation: Two apartments: You will stay in the apartment on the 1st floor and you will have private use of the living room, cooking area, single bedroom and bathroom. The family will stay in the apartment above apart from certain days when mum and her partner will sleep in the double bedroom in the apartment on the 1st floor. Duties: Look after Pietro on the beach, you must absolutely not speak Italian. The whole family will make an effort to speak only English in your presence. Help to lay and clear the table in the evening at supper. You will only be required to wash and iron your own clothes. You will be give use of a washing machine and iron. Family's interests: Swimming. The family go on holiday to Cinquale. The family will be spending the summer in a beautiful location with some lovely sandy and very large beaches.  A great summer position, ideal for a beach lover. During the day you will be given some free time as your hours will not go over 10 hours per day.
