Job Description

Torre Annunziata, Near Naples, South Italy. Short or long term position. Mother's Help needed for a delightful family with two children, Vittoria aged 14 & Niccolo' aged 12. The children go to school for 5 hours a day from 8.00 am to 1.30 pm. The school is located 400 meters from the family's home and is reached on foot. Religion: R/C. Dad is a businessman working in the fashion industry, mum is a teacher. The family speak English and of course Italian. The family live in the city centre. The area is near Pompeii. Torre Annunziata is 20kms from Naples and 15 kms from Sorrento. It is 4kms from Pompeii. Other help kept:a housekeeper for 16 hours per week for all the housework. Requirements: Non-Smoker or willing to smoke only outside/English Mother Tongue/ Experience. 3 or 6 months contract. Accommodation: own private single bedroom. Use of internet is given. Approx hrs of work: 5.00 pm to 8.00 pm. Total daily hrs: 3. Time off: 1 day off including the evenings and other 3 evenings off per week. You are asked to babysit for a maximum of 2 evenings a week if the parents go out. Duties: Speaking only in English to the children so that the children can speak English in the afternoons when you will be together with the children. Speak English with the rest of the family so that they can practice and improve their English. The family spend two months in Florida each year learning English and want to continue with their English through the rest of the year. You are asked not to speak Italian within the family. You will have plenty of opportunities to learn Italian during your free time and out about in the city going into shops and just generally being in Italy.
