| Rome, Italy. Mother's Help needed for family with two children, Stella aged 2 1/2 and Francesco Maria aged 10 months. Religion: R/C. Dad is a chartered accountant, mum works freelance. Both children go to nursery. The nursery is 5 minutes from the family's home by car. The family live in the north or Rome in a spacious apartment on 2 floors with a large terrace. On the first floor there are 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. One of the bedrooms is occupied by the housekeeper and the other bedroom would be your bedroom. On the 2nd floor is where the family's 3 bedrooms are, a living room, kitchen and 2 bathroom. The area is well served with amenities and is near public transport. The center or Rome can be reached by bus in 20 minutes. From June/July the family will be probably moving to another larger apartment nearer the center of Rome. Other help kept: a live-in housekeeper for all the housework and a live-out driver. Requirements: Swimmer/Non-Smoker/Experience/English or Spanish Mother Tongue/Minimal knowledge of Italian. Use of internet is given. 6 month placement. Accommodation: private bedroom. Approx hrs of work: 2.00 pm to 9.00 pm. Total daily hrs: 7. Time off: 1 1/2 days or weekends per week including evenings. You are asked to babysit for a maximum of 5 evenings a week if the parents go out. They do not go out every evening. Duties: General nursery duties. Sometimes go and pick the children up from nursery. Give the children an afternoon snack, play with them, speak English to them, sing songs, teach them nursery rhymes, read them stories, etc. Give the children their supper. Bath the children and put them to bed. Make sure the children's spaces are always clean and tidy and if necessary supervise the housekeeper in her duties in relation to the children, for example making sure the children's laundry has been done, their bedrooms have been cleaned and so forth. Iron the children's clothes, keep their toys tidy and organized and all their belongings. The children may be attending an English or American school in the future and the family may be moving to London in a few years so the family want to start introducing English to the children. Mum is looking for a mother's help who can take direction from the parents. Salary: € 280.00 p/w, net(around £ 220.00 p/w, at the current rate of exchange). Family's interests: Art, travel, sport. The family travel extensively and you would travel with them. When they do travel they stay in the best luxury hotels or in their second homes. In February they will be travelling for 2 weeks to Miami. They will also be spending a month in London. In the winter they often travel to the Abruzzo region, to the mountains where they have a home. In the summer they spend time on the beach between Sicily, Greece and Spain. Next summer they will be probably going to Ibiza. A lovely position in Rome, the capital of Italy with lots of travel opportunities. Rome is famous the world over as the "eternal city". There are lots of things to see and do in the city and surrounding areas. The Amalfi coast, Sorrento, the island of Capri, Vesuvius.
