Sofia goes to school from 8 am to 2 pm. she goes alone by bus. Valeria goes to school from 8 am to 2 pm. she goes alone by tube. |
Job Description
| Rome, Italy. Short term placement. Au-pair needed for family with two children, Sofa aged 16 & Valeria aged 14. Dad is an office worker, mum does not work. Religion: Christian. The family speak English and of course Italian. Both children go go school Monday to Friday for 6 hours a day and go to school alone on public transport. The family live in a small villa with garden and swimming pool. It is in the suburbs of Rome not far from the center. The family's house is 10 minutes on foot from the underground station and it takes 30 minutes by tube to reach the center of Rome. Requirements: Non-Smoker or willing to smoke only outside/English Mother Tongue. Use of internet is given. 4 month placement. Accommodation: share a bedroom with Valeria. If this is an issue another arrangement can be made. Approx hrs of work: 3.00 pm to 9.00 pm. Time off: 1 1/2 days and all evenings. Salary: € 165.00 p/w, negotiable, net (around £ 125.00 p/w, at the current rate of exchange). Duties: Speak English with the girls and stay with them as much as possible. Have dinner with the family and spend time with the family after dinner as well if you want to. Family's interests: Staying with friends, going to the cinema, visiting new places, listening to music. The family go on holiday to the seaside and to the mountains. They have one cat and one rabbit that lives outside. They also have a small dog that lives inside. Rome is the capital of Italy and if famous the world over. There are lots of things to see and do. In the surrounding area there is the sea which is not far away, the Amalfi coast, the island of Capri, Vesuvius, Sorrento and Pompeii. Rome has a large international community and there are other au-pairs working in the area. |
