| Duties: | Typical day: 12.50 pm Giada needs to be picked up from school. 4.00 pm go and pick up Nicolo' from nursery. Tuesday & Thursday Nicolo' has football practice from 5.00 pm to 6.30 pm. Wednesday he has a swimming lesson from 4.30 pm-5.45 pm. Give Nicolo' his bath, ,prepare Nicolo's supper. Have supper with the whole family. If needed babysit Nicolo'. Saturday evening is free and all day Sunday but if you want to go out Saturday afternoon to Arona it is not a problem. Arona is 3km from our house, you have the bus stop in front of the house. Summer holidays: June/July we go on holiday for one week by boat usually in Corsica, you will come with us and you will help with Niccolo'. August you will come with us to France, we have a house in the Cote d'Azur where we stay for the whole month. October/November, my husband and I with Nicolo' go away on our own for 1 week, you girls will stay at home or you can go home. December the week of Christmas we go on holiday usually to visit friends overseas, you can go home if you want or go on holiday or stay at our home. January from the 31st December we all go to the mountains to celebrate the New Year and we stay there till the 7th January. I want to leave Nicolo' with you, Gaia and her boyfriend Matteo so he can continue his ski lessons. I will come at weekends. You will have more responsibility however our home is 1 hour by car from the mountains. Here you will be able to ski if you like skiing, in the hours Niccolo is skiing from 10.00 am to 1.00 pm. Sometimes Matteo will take Nicolo' skiing so you will be free during this time. During this month grandma will come to visit for 1 week. The winter season starts on the 8th December and finishes on the 30th March and I like going every weekend to the mountains. If you don't want to come sometimes, you can stay at home. In the mountains you will need to help out also with some housework. To go on the internet you will need to bring your own PC. |

Job Description
| Arona, Near Novara, Junior Nanny or Mother's Help needed for family with 3 children, Nicolo' aged 5, Giada aged 17 & Gaia aged 19 who is at University and only comes home at weekends. Both parents have their own business. The family live in Dagnente which is a suburb of Arona. In front of the family's home is the bus stop and Arona is 2 kms away. Milan is 40 minutes away. Arona has good transport connections (trains). Other help kept: 3 members of staff including a housekeeper for 40 hours per week for all the housework and a cook. Requirements: Ability to Cook/Driver/Swimmer/Non-Smoker or willing to smoke only outside/Experience English Mother Tongue. Use of car and internet given. To go on the internet you will need to bring your own PC. Wifi access is free, but when you are looking after Nicolo' you will not be able to play on your mobile or use the internet, this is important for his safety. 6 month placement. Accommodation: own private double bedroom and private bathroom. You will need to keep your own bedroom clean and once a week the housekeeper will do the deep clean. You will need to do your own laundry. Total weekly hours: maximum 36. Duties: pick Giada up from school at 12.50 pm, have lunch with her. At 4.00 pm go and pick Nicolo' up from nursery. Take him to any after school activities. You will have use of the family car for this. The school is located 1 km away and the nursery 5 kms away from the family's home. Give him his bath, play with him, watch TV with him, watch any English films, or TV programs with him, speak English with mum and Giada, prepare Nicolo's supper, have supper with the whole family. | More information provided by the family: My family is composed of Gaia 19, Giada 17, Nicolo 5, Franco my husband and me Michela. I want to describe to you a bit the characters of all my children, so that you can understand what our family is like!!!!! Gaia: she studies at the University in Milan, Economics and Commerce. She has studied languages, French (her favorite) English (which she doesn't like much), Spanish. Gaia has a boyfriend, Matteo who also studies at the University of Milan, she lives in Milan during the week and comes home at weekends. She is very correct and well mannered, reserved and a bit shy. She likes going out with her friends at weekends, all girls and boys from 19 to 24. She doesn't like sports, in family we call her a sloth! Giada studies at a language high school and she also studies French (that she loves), English (so so) and Spanish. She also has a boyfriend, Davide who comes to visit her at weekends. He lives in Courmayeur where we have a home. Giada is very sociable, well mannered and fiery. She has a very sociable personality. She comes home from school every day and has lunch at home, usually with me. She does not practice any sports but is always looking for someone who will get her to do some physical activity. In the afternoons she studies or has tutoring lessons at home or if needed in Arona. At weekends lives in symbiosis with Davide. Nicolo' is good, well mannered, attentive and kind. For a 5 year old everyone says he is a good child. The last of my children so he is the one who gets the most attention and is serene as he has found himself with 3 mums. He goes to nursery at 9.30 am and I take him, he finishes at 4.00-4.30 pm On Tuesday and Thursday Nicolo' plays football (his favorite sport) and he goes swimming on Wednesday. He loves the iPad, TV and I would love it that he would learn to listen in English to help him in the future with the study of the language. Franco is an adorable husband, we have been together for 24 years. He is an important business man, we produce shoes and clothes for the security industry. He loves Rally racing, Inter football team and he leaves the house at 10.00 am and comes home at 8.00 pm. Now we come to me.... I work with my husband and I look after the clothing sector for about 3 years, before I was a full-time mum. I am always rushing somewhere, I have a sociable character and I don't do any sports and I am also studying English!!!! I love shopping and in my free time I like to relax! Grandma is adopted as the grandparents have all passed away, she is a 74 year old lady who often comes to our house and also sometimes sleeps over. She is friendly and dynamic and loves my children as they were her own. Nicolo calls her grandma. Then I have my friends, the children's aunts, the most important of which is Paola, who works with me and has seen my children practically be born. We spend the summer by the sea, in the Cote d'Azur, I have a house there and we stay there 1 month, August. During the winter at weekends we go to the mountains in Courmayeur, where we also have a home there. January and February Nicolo stays in the mountains for his ski course and I go there usually on Friday. He stays with grandma or Gaia and Matteo and if you are there with you. If you like skiing you will have loads of fun, as when Nicolo does his 3 hours with his ski teacher you can go skiing. We come to you..... I would like someone I can trust who I can leave my son from the afternoon, so go and pick him up from nursery, till the evening when I get home, approx 4 hours every day. At the weekend if I need help on Saturday afternoon but usually I look after him and if you want to go out with me I will be happy to have you with me. Comapany for Giada so she has someone to speak English with for me is very important and also to speak with me to teach me the language. I need someone who wants to become part of our family as a daughter, who wants to be useful. I am not strict, but the house rules need to be respected for everyone, so someone who is trustworthy and family loving. In October/November I usually go on a trip with my husband, so you will stay at home with my daughters, or you will be able to go home, the same the week after Christmas. We lead a simple lifestyle, we have friends, dinner parties and in the evening if we go out to dinner you would stay with Giada and Nicolo to watch a film, on the other hand if all the family go out we love Japanese food!!!!! I have 4 dogs but you will not have to look after them. Honey: a Cocker Spaniel, Tiffany: a Chihuahua, Chanel: a Maltese, Quick: Bernese mountain dog. I have a cat Striscia and a goldfish Cars. I don't smoke, my husband smokes cigars, Gaia doesn't smoke, Giada I am not sure. I don't like that anyone smokes in the house. We don't take drugs and alcohol if not some good wine. Usually I or Franco cook but we are fine with someone else cooking if they like preparing and Enza makes some excellent cakes. I think I have given a very detailed description of us. |
