Experience with children: |
I have a passion for working with children which led to my decision to pursue a career as a teacher.
My energy and charismatic attitude has given me the opportunity to embark on this dream.
Throughout the course of my degree I had the opportunity to work in schools as a trainee teacher for the 3 years, overall I have had 30 weeks experience teaching in various schools. I thoroughly enjoyed my experiences in the schools and this mirrored the glowing feedback I received from them.
I am a loyal worker, keen to display a high degree of honesty and integrity.
• Over a period of 3 months during the Summer I was the Sole Nanny for 2 Italian children who of which were learning English as a second language. • My main duty was to spend 10 hours a day with the children to develop their understanding and practical use of the English language. • The welfare of the children was a priority of mine, while also ensuring the safety and happiness of the children throughout the duration of my employment. • As part of my duty I worked closely with the parents to ensure the wellbeing of the children over the period,
as a result I developed a strong rapport with the parents based on trust, honesty and integrity.
In 2016 I secured a permanent position as a Primary School Teacher in a local school, I have spent 3 years so far in the school teaching from ages 3-7.
During my time at the school I have won the school the accreditation of an 'Eco School', I have taken the school to Phase 4 of the National Healthy Schools Initiative.
